Pastor Jim and his wife Rebecca have two children, one daughter, Janette and a son, Jonis.

Jim graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a BA in Music and a minor in Leadership. He has served in music ministry in Durant and surrounding areas since 1998 when he responded to God's call at Falls Creek.

Jim has lived in Durant for almost 30 years and is involved in community activities.  He believes it is important for God's people to live and breath the Gospel in their community.  Jim is or has been involved with the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce, Durant Kiwanis Club, Boy Scout Troop 517, Durant Daily Democrat writing occasional religion columns, and more. Jim is involved in the business community with his company PrintNet and as a Field Representative with Woodmen of the World.

Music has the power to speak to the heart! Since we all have hearts that thrive on encouragement and that need to be energized – the music at Western Meadow is encouraging and energizing. We want you to get a lift and not a letdown when you come to church!

We all like different styles of music, so there are several music styles incorporated into our worship celebration.
